The welcome bonuses can still be worth it off course. It’s just something to be mindful about.
For online poker the rake is actually much better online!
And there are sign-up bonuses as well.
The downside is the average online player tends to be a bit better.
Still I think online is great for new players because you get a chance to play a lot of hands for minimal risk (you can play $.01/$.02 if you want) and no one is going to get mad at you for misplaying a hand. Or if they do, just mute em.
