I used Cash App to deposit on Ignition Poker but now I wanted to withdraw some of my winnings to test the process. But I’m hearing you shouldn’t do that. What’s the deal?
There have been some instances of Cash App and centralized exchanges (Coinbase, Kraken) banning accounts for being connected to gambling.
The trick is just to create a private wallet (Exodus, Ledger, MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet are popular) that you withdraw to first. From that point it’s fine to send to offramps like Cash App and Coinbase.
With crypto it’s generally a good idea to have a private wallet anyways, so it’s good practice.
